I spent like 1.5 years exploring that game world. It was like twice the size of my room.totally insane but impressive at the same time. When I played Wizardry 7, my friend and I created a single grid paper map for the entire world that must have been 30-50 pieces all taped together. (Remember using graph paper to map your locatation in the game world, that was old school) (more than once) The linkin features of the Xeen series was great and I loved the lore. Out of all the early RPG's, Might and Magic and the Heroes series were always my favorite and I played every single one of them. So glad to hear there is perhaps another online title pending, I'll keep my eyes open, and I'll check out this current game to keep me occupied in the meantime. Ultima, Wizardry and Might & Magic more or less defined my childhood! I played the original RPG Might & Magic games and loved them. I personally like turn based games, they are relaxing, and much more thinking than a simple button masher, heck even Wow is just a 1-2-1-2 button masher. I have never been intersted in the Heroes versions,i am actually playing Mandate of Heaven right now #6.Amazing that such an older game could have a MUCH better feeling of open ended game play, than modern MMORPG's. ![]()
